Animal Law Section | Pet Adoption Day at the Governor’s Mansion
Members of the Animal Law Section,
As we begin a new Bar year, I am hopeful the Bar’s leadership will share with the Bar’s sections information and events that might be of interest to section members.
Late last week I learned about an event I believe many of you will find interesting. This Saturday, Governor Kemp and his family will be hosting a Pet Adoption Day at the Governor’s Mansion. More details can be found below.
Animal welfare is an issue we can all support. I hope you will consider supporting this small effort to find homes for dogs and cats in need.
On Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to noon, the Kemp Family will host Pet Adoption Day at the Governor’s Mansion. The First Lady has partnered with humane societies, animal shelters and rescues from across the state to help find homes for dogs and cats in need.
Help us promote this fun event! To register, click here [ gov.georgia.gov ] .
It’s a great opportunity to come and see the Mansion and hopefully find a new forever friend!
Darrell Sutton, President
State Bar of Georgia
