Dear Fellow Member of the Aviation Section:
At our last annual meeting in January, I requested that someone come forward to serve as our newsletter editor. Arthur Park did a magnificent job. However, it was not fair to expect him to fulfill this role indefinitely. In this short note, I am requesting, once again, that someone volunteer to perform the task of a newsletter editor. I promise to support and encourage anyone who may volunteer for this assignment. I believe the publication of a newsletter is vital to maintaining an awareness of what our members are doing and providing clarity and vision to the goals and objectives of Aviation Section. If no one is willing to assist in this effort, since the Section has considerable funds at its disposal to pay a commercial firm to organize, print and distribute the newsletter, I will proceed in that direction. I would be satisfied if we could produce two newsletters per year. If any member is willing to perform this task for compensation, I am open to discussing that option as well.
If you have any interest in performing the duties of a newsletter editor, please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience.
