Due to local jurisdictions exploring ways to limit the spread of COVID-19 and various “stay at home” orders/limitations on face to face visitation between parents, child(ren), Guardian Ad Litems and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), please remember to contact your local jurisdiction if you need information on the new visitation protocol, If you are unaware of how to obtain a new visitation protocol from your local jurisdiction, please feel free to contact JP Berlon at jpberlon@chathamcounty.org [ mailto:jpberlon@chathamcounty.org ] or any Executive Committee member listed below for additional assistance.
The Executive Committee is searching for current members of the section who practice in various judicial circuits. Each member of the Executive Committee commits to the following: participating in monthly meeting, contributing to initiatives (e.g. newsletter or Section CLE), communicating regularly with section members in your community and field of practice; attending an annual CLE, membership meetings and other Section events and playing an active role in providing input on Section initiatives and sharing such initiatives with your local communities. If you currently practice in the following judicial circuits and can commit as stated herein, please contact JP Berlon at jpberlon@chathamcounty.org. The judicial circuits where the Executive Committee lacks representation are as follows: Judicial Circuits 2 (Pataula, Doughtery, South Georgia, Tifton, Southern, Alapaha); Circuit 3 (Chattahoochee, Macon, Houston, Southwestern); Circuit 6 (Coweta); Circuit 8 (Dublin, Oconee, Ocmulgee, Middle); and Circuit 10 (Toombs, Augusta).
