*DEADLINE EXTENDED* 2019-20 Mentorship Academy | The Courtroom Experience II
**The application deadline for the 2019-20 Mentorship Academy has been extended to June 15.
The Labor & Employment Section of the State Bar of Georgia is making plans for the 2019-20 Labor & Employment Mentorship Academy. In 2016 the section launched the Labor & Employment Mentorship Academy, a mentoring program designed to provide its less experienced members the opportunity to be mentored by those more experienced.
The 2019-20 Mentorship Academy will kick off with an orientation session on July 18.
The Board seeks mentees and mentors from across the Labor and Employment legal community. We seek and encourage participation by persons of various ages, ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations, located throughout the state of Georgia and with practices representing government, unions, employers or employees. Section members interested in being mentors and/or mentees in the Academy for the 2019-20 year should complete and submit the appropriate application using the below links.
There is no minimum or maximum experience level for mentees, only the sincere interest and desire to learn and grow through a focused Labor & Employment mentoring process.
If you are interested in applying, below are links to applications for each. Please complete your application and return it to Tamika Sykes, email@example.com [ mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org ] as soon as possible, but no later than June 15.
The Section Committee and the Academy Board are excited about continuing to offer this worthwhile program to section members. Please join us for year four of the Labor & Employment Mentorship Academy.
