Dear Military/Veterans Law Section members:

The following historical symposium is coming up and may be of interest to members of the Section, though it is not an event officially sponsored by the section.

The Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association will be holding its 2019 symposium on November 2, 2019 at the Atlanta History Center Woodruff

Auditorium – McElreath Hall, 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30305 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. This symposium is sponsored by the Atlanta

Vietnam Veterans Business Association Foundation, a charitable organization, and Synovus Bank.

The symposium features some of the foremost experts on Vietnam War history

and focuses on the history of the Vietnam War, will be moderated by R. J.

Del Vecchio, Executive Secretary of Vietnam Veterans for Factual History,

and will feature presentations by:

– Dr. Michael Kort, Professor of Social Sciences at Boston University,

B.A. Johns Hopkins, Ph.D., New York University.

– Dr. Mark Moyar, Director of the Office of Civilian-Military

Cooperation at USAID, B.A., *summa cum laude*, Harvard University,

Ph.D., Cambridge University.

– Professor Robert F. Turner, Distinguished Fellow at the Center for

National Security Law, J.D. & S.J.D., University of Virginia School of Law.
