General Practice & Trial | 2020 Tradition of Excellence Awards Recipients
Dear Section Members,
I am pleased to announce the 2020 Tradition of Excellence Awards recipients: Michael D. St. Amand, Atlanta (defense), Hon. Thomas E. Cauthorn, Marietta (general practice), Judge Kathy S. Palmer, Swainboro (judicial) and Virgil Adams, Macon (plaintiff).
As you know we usually celebrate the award winners in conjunction with the State Bar Annual Meeting in June with a breakfast and reception. The 2020 Annual Meeting in Sandestin has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our members, we will individually present each recipients their award in a way that respects the current guidance from federal, state and local authorities. We will arrange for a reception honoring these outstanding lawyers later in the year when it is safe to gather and social distancing recommendations have been eased. As soon as we have made arrangements for the reception we will send out details with all the information.
