Please join the Nonprofit Law Section [Jan 26, 2021 12:00 PM] for a virtual seminar on Important Employment Law Considerations and Emerging Topics for Nonprofits. Rebecca W. Shanlever (Partner, Hall, Gilligan, Roberts & Shanlever LLP) will first present on Volunteers and the Law: The Legal Issues of Working with Volunteers.
Following this presentation, this seminar will feature a panel discussion on Employment Law Roundtable: Discussion of Both Recurring and Emerging Employment Issues. This panel will feature Rebecca W. Shanlever (Partner, Hall, Gilligan, Roberts & Shanlever LLP), Kenneth N. Winkler (Shareholder, Berman Fink Van Horn P.C.), and James Radford (Partner, Radford & Keebaugh, LLC). The panel will be moderated by Jonathan R. Poole (Associate General Counsel, Emory University).
The panel topics include any anticipated post-election changes in regulatory law, return to work issues in the age of Covid-19, practical advice on how to deal with harassment in the workplace and other everyday employment law issues, and the ins and outs of the ministerial exception.
